Aren't the pine trees lovely all covered with snow?! Over 14 inches (35 cm) of snow fell this past weekend and the temperature was 5 degrees Fahrenheit (- 15 Celsius)!
hi leif, what a brrr!! foto this is. ^0^ wonderful shot!
re on hilda: sadly, I don't have any news either, I think she works at a University but it's not in Manila, it's in another district. I don't have any contact with her, just in the blog world. ^0^ weird that she'd be off blogging, but i hope she's fine. maybe she's just busy and needs some time off. ^0^
Hello Leif, There is too much winter here and there these days. A white Christmas is more or less expected in Denmark - I would prefer a green one. But, of course it is fine to se what the snow is showing.
Wonderful photo. I know exactly where it is. My sister lives off this street. Coming home for Christmas. Cold here in the south. 25F last night with a wind chill!!! BRRRR.
And, more snow is predicted on Wednesday and Thursday. Guess we'd better get our snowblowers repaired. The nice man who plowed out the rest of the driveway (very little since Jim had done most of it) and the HUGE 4ft snowpile as hard as rocks that was left by the plows charged us a King's ransom yesterday. Don't blame him because it was hard work, but...
Why can't we have snow and heat together??? Used to live in Israel, and I drove a few times from Eilat, Red Sea, 35 degrees, to Mount Hermon, 280 miles away and 3500 meters higher, with snow, on the same day. 40 degrees less. But minus 15 C... No thanks.
Very pretty but it must be a real mess out there. The news reports about the snow in the Midwest are disturbing. It is cold everywhere but fortunately not as much snow as you have.
It could be a very romantic shot without that car! But I like it anyway. I wish you and your family and friends a merry pre-Christmas period. Have you already bought all the gifts?

Don't have any news from Hilda either, send her an email, but no answer. Hope she's fine.

Wow, that's a long drive and does not seem to be very safe, be careful, please !
It's beautiful, for sure, but it looks so cold that I am shivering before my computer :-)
It's frozen weather everywhere in this time. And winter is not strating yet.
The news about what happened to the football stadium roof was all over Japan yesterday! I hope your roof hasn't caved in, Leif :-D
Beautiful. We're still without but hoping for the weekend.
... And we are complaining about the freezy morning here: 4ºC outside when I woke up! :-)
