This home in a cul-de-sac in neighboring Inver Grove Heights is all lit up for Christmas. It was on a newspaper list of most illuminated houses in the Twin Cities. His neighbors also had LOTS of lights!
The energy bill for this home in December and January must be huge! Every year I vow that I will make a tour of the decorated homes yet I still haven't done that. Perhaps I should this year?
WOW, WOW, WOW das ist echt der Hammer! Super schönes Haus...tolles Bild Leif! Ich möchte mal wissen was die Familie an Strom bezahlt für diese MegaBeleuchtung.
Das ist doch ein wenig verrückt...!! Typisch amerikanisch?? Vielleicht, aber in Liechtenstein gibt es auch ein paar wenige Häuser, die so extrem mit Weihnachtsbeleuchtung geschmückt sind.

From the outside, apartments and houses appear to remain unchanged, usually. There are a few exceptions. Sometimes I can just glimpse a lights flickering on a tree inside a neighbors flat as I pass--if the light is just right and I'm lucky.

I don't like exaggeration - but it's funny.
I admire this family's Christmas spirit. Some hyper-decorated homes are so tacky I can't bear it, but this one is (relatively) tasteful.
