Great Kate, one of the St. Paul city daily photo bloggers, and I enjoyed cafe' mochas and treats together in St. Paul on a quiet Friday afternoon. We chatted about our favorite CDP blogs and caught up since our last visit in Eagan a year ago.
What a duo!! We had a good time and must do it again soon! My sling doesn't look too bad, does it. Pretty soon it will be off for good! Terrific to see your smiling face yesterday, Leif!
how wonderful to see dear Kate and dear you enjoying a coffee together. I wish I'd been there too. In answer to your question, Leif, I'm English - but I've lived in America, ditto Australia.
I am glad to see you and Kate. We miss Kate's blog while her arm is on the mend, so it is good to see her in your blog.
Both of you look to be rather hearty souls, as you have very light jackets with you and it looks cold outside. Julie (of Scottsdale Daily Photo) and I just returned from 5 days in Washington D.C. (with Sharon of Phoenix Daily Photo) and we bundled up with many more layers than you and Kate have, and we still froze in temperatures that were undoubtedly warmer than what you have in Minnesota.
How wonderful that you and Kate got the chance to meet up. I wish I had the chance to meet up with Kate on her last visit here, next time for sure. Thanks for sharing the photo and have a great day!
Oh how fun! I think we all need to do more to build community. CDP'ers really are great people providing a great service! Maybe after Eric is done with his convention in Paris we would get him to host a CDP convention!
It's always fun to see the face behind the blog ... especially when you're in the same city. Nice you could get together! I've had the pleasure of meeting several CDP personalities as well. Splendid!!
What great fun it is to meet with another CDP blogger!
«Louis» and Carolyn (Oakland Daily Photo) meet for coffee occasionally. Once, Richard (Eye Prefer Paris) and «Louis» met for coffee when Richard was in San Francisco. We CDP bloggers seem to have developed into a global family, and that is a great benefit of being a CDP blogger.
You're real!! I'm ambivalent about disclosing myself. My profile is semi-anonymous, although I guess I do post some personal information as comments from time to time. How to balance the friendships with the mystery? . . .
Helo and thanks for the nice comment. I've only met a few other photo bloggers but it's always a pleasure because of our mutual interest. I think it was probably wise to enjoy a warm place and snacks rather than braving the cold. :)
Boy, did I do a double-take. Kate look so much like my mother when she was a bit younger. Uncanny! And how fun to get together. I love to meet new bloggers...who knows? One day I may pass your way, or you mine!
LOL "Kate looks so much like my mother when she was a bit younger"
Is that a backhanded compliment or what?!
Leif: You could have worn the bow-tie for the occasion - if it's good enough for Walmart, it's good enough for our Kate.
Kate: I have it on Good Authority (one of them thar Suth'n Belles) that white shoes after Labor Day are a sartorial faux pas par excellence. And your sling makes you look like a bank robber

Fun to get together for coffee and visit. After the holidays, we should head for the Conservatory for indoor and WARM photoshooting.
Så fin genser, visste du at den er strikket etter et kjent, gammelt, norsk mønster?

Lovely to have people nearby to meet up with. I'm jealous.

I think back to our meeting in Roskilde in august...
I'm surprised that you don't have Bjorn-Olaf parked in the background so we could all see that, as well...
Is that baking Christmas cookies, I smell???
MMMMMMMMM...Sooooooooo gooooooooooooood!!
Ihr seht richtig lieb aus. Ich bin mir sicher, Ihr hattet eine Menge zu erzaehlen und habt das Treffen genossen. Alles Liebe und Gute aus Stuttgart.
Me? I like the mystery. I'll open up but on my terms. hahahaha

Well, nice to meet the two of you.
