Our souvenir from Sweden

We picked up our new Volvo V70 "Hagen Wagon" in Goteborg, Sweden on July 15 and drove it 3,109 miles on our family vacation visiting relatives and friends through Norway and Sweden. Four Weeks after dropping it off back at the Volvo factory, we picked it up in Minneapolis at the Borton Volvo dealership. ABBA music blared through the moon roof all the way back to Eagan!

Poor little Red is going to feel so small and insignificant. What does the "S" on the window sticker stand for...? "Sly" dog who doesn't tell that he's picking up his new ride?;);)

I wouldn't mind owning one of these. When I lived in a neighborhood where everyone seemed to own one of these cars, we dubbed it the Volvo
Barrio.

Nice set of wheels, Leif! Is it dark blue or black? I can't tell for sure from the picture. Love the ABBA music, too. We used to play our ABBA record in the basement of our "burnt orange" home in Stevens Point!

You do know that Volvo is now owned by Ford. ;-)

I have always liked their cars though. This one will be very nice for your family.

Nice wheels! My aunt had a Volvo and had close to 300,000 miles on it before trading it.

Is that the date on the number plate? I too have ABBA blaring, much to my children's disgust!

Herr Hagen mit dem neuen, blauen und schon immer gewünschten Volvo-Wagen.
Schönes, aber nicht alltägliches Souvenir!!

Never heard of folk importing a car across the pond before. Is that a new registration plate or can you use the old Swedish one?

Nice car, Leif. Will you get to 3 million miles in that car over the next 44 years?

You have the most interesting road test to purchase a car we've ever seen.

What a clever way to save car rental costs.

Great car. One of the best vehicles I ever owned was a Volvo 850-T5.
