This red barn likely belonged to a large farm in Eagan until much of the land was developed into residential neighborhoods. I spotted this beauty along Dodd Road with a few horses corralled behind it.
It's fun to come across these little gems of a bygone era. PS. I'm in Santa Fe without a computer, and I'm having photo-withdrawal. Visiting the library is great for books but waiting for a computer to use is a huge pain!

Must be startling to see in a city. Cool though!
Such a pretty color. Looks like it is well-cared for.
Oh I like the white roof on that barn! Very unique :D
I like the roof too!
In the city? You did some great cropping to disguise its location. It looks like country to me. :)

I love those coloured barnes, we don't have them
overhere.
we live a few blocks from this barn. They have llama named Teddy that is there with the horses.
I love American barns, they are so beautiful. Yu know why they are painted that color, don't you? I think I mentioned it on my blog two years ago...
