Au revoir 'a Isabelle

Today our friend, Isabelle, is moving back to France with her three daughters after living for 9 years in Minnesota. Her husband, Bruno, has already returned to Paris to begin his new job. We've enjoyed becoming friends, sharing meals and fun times together. It's sad to say good-bye until the next time. Isabelle and I enjoyed a farewell lunch last week at the "Pardon my French" cafe' and wine bar off Cliff Road. First course = ham & cheese crepes with salads; second course = scrumptious desserts. Bon voyage, Isabelle!

Bon voyage to Isabelle et surtout bonne réadaptation. Welcome back!

Les séparations sont toujours un peu tristes. Je n'étais pas heureuse de quitter mes amis samedi....

A safe journey for her, living in probably one of the nicest cities of the world.

(Somehow, that doesn't sound trés francais...)
