The City of Eagan surpassed its goal of collecting 150,000 pounds of food for the Eagan Resource Center (foodshelf) already in the first 3 months into the year. So Eagan set a new goal to double the orginal amount in celebration of the city's 150th anniversary! More than 60 businesses and organizations and thousands of citizens are helping. This goal meter sits up against the Eagan City Hall building off Pilot Knob Road.
Go Eagan go!

Good work.
Wow--that's a lot of food!
I like the competitive nature of your community. I also like the looks of the building behind it. Probably I should go investigate it...after I have some delectable pastries at a French cafe in the neighborhood.
Wonderful work there, great news!
Léia :)
Work like this shows that the community called Eagan REALLY is a community. Eagan seems to have a great community spirit and you do a fine job of showcasing it.
That is good news! The bad news is that there are people who need it. :(
Too much!! Have a wonderful weekend. My love to Minnesota!
Wunderbare Sachen macht Ihr in Eagan, das muss ich schon sagen. Macht weiter so!
Imponerende innsats!! :-)
Impressive, to say the least. Agree with the voices from above, that your city seems to be able to become a role model for so many.

i dont want to be fussy, but wouldnt it be better to use that influence to prevent food shelters from being necessary?
