I just noticed this old ph ne at our local gas station. It's such a relic now but I did actually see a guy using it one time as I filled up our car with gas.
You see them quite a bit around cruise ships. I think the staff uses them to call when they're on land as it must be cheaper than using a satellite phone onboard.

I have not seen a public telephone booth in India for a long time. Must go hunting for one soon. Nice post!
