P is for pastries!

"Pardon my French" is a French bakery, cafe' and wine bar. They offer delicious food options, wines, etc. but my favorite is their pastries! The French native owners, Frederic & Chrystel Klein established this popular spot in October 2008. Frederic comes from Colmar in Alsace while his wife originates from Perpignon, France. Chrystel teaches French in the area.

And, pray tell, where is this shop with such delectable pastries? Reveal! I'll even meet you there for a cup of coffee and discuss Door County!!

Still having problems with my internet, but it will soon be solved...I hope!!

Gosh, wonder what brought them to the US of A!
Well, as an Alsatian myself (no, I don't usually bark), I can only say: make my fellow countryman and his wife to millionaires! Buy their fantastic FRENCH products!!!

Slurp, a delicious picture!! But pls do not send me even one, since it'd take at least a week for the goodies to arrive in Finland, and they would not look/smell that gorgeous any longer :)

Yummy. I'm glad this place is nowhere near me, as I would have to exercise a lot more to make up for all the pastries I'd be sampling.

You're a bad man, Safe Leif. You should not be promoting such dietary decadence! I'd gain 10 pounds just walking by this place!

Talk about "horsing around!" Sheesh!

This shop is only 2 miles from my house, and is so hard to drive past without stopping. The pastries really are great. They also have wonderful giant meringues.

I can't see this stuff at 8.00 am, they are obscenely tempting... Wonderful choice of pastries and great name for a cafè.

low quality ingredients make poorly tasting menu items at this place. not enought of a food selection. it took over 30 minutes for our order to arrive......and it's already prepared in a display cooler. Highly disappointed in this place. The danish tasted like they were a day old also. thumbs down!

I love to support small, local businesses in the area. This place, though, is the WORST, by far! I took my dental office staff to lunch the week of November 2. When we walked in, the place was packed. Come to find out there were just long lines because of extremely slow service. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, we had to sit at a dirty table. They apparently expect you to bus your own dishes and there is nobody wiping tables.(we had to do that on our own) It seemed that they were extremely under-staffed, especially for the lunch rush. The food that you order is already pre-made in a refridgerated case. So we could not understand what took over 40 minutes for us to get our food. Also, 3 of the 7 meals were not what we ordered. This took another 15 minutes to correct. There was a very rude man named "Brett" who was serving the food and running around like he was lost. After talking to a "manager", who did not tell us her name and looked all of 17 years old, we were not offered anything for our troubles. The food was bland with low quality ingredients. The deserts we tried were very dry and not what you would expect from a Master French Pastry Chef. This was a terrible experience and I would NEVER recommend this establishment. I don't see them lasting much longer with this type of service and quality of food. Sorry to say that myself and my office staff will NEVER go back.
