Another couple joined Anne and me at Ansari's for a delicious Mediterranean meal and lively entertainment on Friday night. The local bellydancer wore a gorgeous dress made in Egypt. I enjoyed the "taste of Lebanon" special while the others had Mediterranean stir-fry or kebobs.

Nice photos, Leif. I wonder what the good Lutherans think of belly dancing in a restaurant? Probably would belly right up to the bar and avert their eyes! You betcha!
Nice photo. A Mediterranean evening sounds like fun. I met a Princess last year, her mother was a famous belly dancer in Egypt back in the 1980ths. They now both work at a dance studio in Stockholm but I am yet to see them dance live.
hmmm...bellydancing....sounds like you had fun!

We were 4 good Lutherans watching and enjoying. She talked with us between dances; I guess were a fun (and good-looking group)! Ha!
Very nice to enjoy this mediterranean meal. Nice photos Leif.
Gorgeous dress huh, and thats the story you are sticking too. Nice photo.
Somehow the food (and drinks) always taste better when "poetry" on the theme day blogs. Puts a smile on my face. Can't wait to see your photograph for theme day.
My previous comment got mangled when I was having trouble posting it. Should read: ..."always taste better when there's entertainment. I have been reading your "poetry" on the theme day blogs..." (hope it works this time!!)
She looks almost too slim for a belly dancer. Great dress!
Looks like you enjoyed every bit of it ....
