Hot Lunch at school

My daughter treated me to hot lunch with her at her elementary school this week. Cheese pizza, peaches, carrots, Scooby-Doo crackers, milk and corn. The lunch room wasn't full as classes eat at different times.

  1. Ah, What a cutie! The lunch doesn't look too bad; healthy, too. Carrots!!!! Great choice.

  2. I used to do that too with my kids and I was always surprised when they dug into their dessert first!

  10. Don't kid me, you scared all the kids away. I heard one of them yelling, "Yikes! I thought Halloween was over!"

    She's a sweetie. How'd you manage that?

  13. American scholl children are so lucky, we don't have school lunches in Australia. The only thing we have are "tuck shop" - mums come and work in it, kiddies write their order on a bag, money inside and the mums do make them up. Food usually consists of pies, pasties, sausage rolls (winter) and sandwickes and rolls in summer.

You daughter is pretty and has the face of an angel - you must be very proud.

  18. That lunch tray is an environmental nightmare...individually packaged crackers? plastic spork? peaches in a plastic cup? The three R's (reduce, reuse, recycle) must be a theory class in schools.
