Already 5 years ago today, I started the "Eagan Daily Photo blog" to present my city to the world. I joined 1,000 others in the City Daily Photo blog network around the globe. After 1,825 daily postings without a day missed, I'm starting to need help with photo ideas! Help me!

Grill season!

Finally, the weather permitted me to bring the patio furniture and grill out to our backyard patio. I grilled chicken for the first time since last summer.  What do you like to grill?

These three extraordinary Eagan High School students received recognition at Wednesday's Eagan Rotary lunch meeting. Academics, volunteerism and more topped their accomplishments! Bravo!

Building strong community

Mike Lavin, fellow Eagan Rotarian and District Executive of the YMCA in Eagan, is accustomed to heavy lifting.  He leads one of the largest 21 branch YMCAs in the Twin Cities with over 350 employees.  This YMCA branch was built in 1993 and has expanded several times.

We recently ate dinner at Doolittle's Restaurant on Cliff Road. Salmon on a bed of spinach, asparagus and bacon - soooo good! 

Dog class

Some second grade students at Woodland Elementary School met with Eagan Rotarian and realtor Sheila Hittner. They learned about therapy dogs and met Sheila's Tibetan Spaniel, "Brisket."
