Porch prediction

The thermometer read - 10 degrees Fahrenheit (-25 Celsius) on Sunday morning. Monday's temp is predicted to be a low of -24 degrees (-32 Celsius); the wind chill makes it even colder!! Schools are closed today.

Alisa, the bellydancer at Ansari's Mediterranean Grill & Lounge, recruited two extra dancers to join her up on stage. Hip swivelers make good dancers! Delicious food and great dancing entertainment!

We skated late afternoon at Clearwater Park off Pilot Knob Road. It was fun but cold on the outdoor rink!

Almost spring?

Saturday's warm temperatures reached 40 degrees Fahrenheit. The snow was melting!

Christmas buffet

My family gathered at our house for a Christmas Eve day lunch of Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, cranberry salad, lingonberries, fruit soup, green beans and lefse.  Pies topped off the dessert!

The table was prepared on Monday for Christmas Eve dinner with my family. Family time; happy time!

Musical "do gooders"

These University of Minnesota marching band students were collecting money for Salvation Army in front of Byerly's grocery store. They played "Angels We Have Heard on High" while I photographed them.
