James Midboe trained as a competitive boxer. Nowdays his goal is helping people with health and wellness through chiropractics and exercise.  He and four others started the new Mi5 Fitness & CrossFit Gym in Lakeville.  The sun shone on James at the Eagan Community Center pavilion.

Harvest of Art Celebration

A big crowd attended the 7th annual Eagan Art House event on a perfect Sunday afternoon. Artists demonstrated Raku outdoor pottery firing, making pottery and other art mediums. Pottery students and other artists sold their art pieces while live music and ice cream topped off the fun, successful afternoon!

Fresh vegetables and other produce abounded at Wednesday's Market Fest. Autumn seems to be at the front door....

Starting school

Our 4th grader and 1st grader were ready for the first day of school on Tuesday morning.  Parents everywhere seemed to post their kids' fun "first day of school" photos all over Facebook!

Eaganite & a German bride

My "East" German penpal, Christiane, invited our family to her wedding in Meiningen on Saturday. It was a fabulous, day long event in a 12th century castle. It's like a dream now since we just arrived at home after our European family vacation. 

Royal Wildcats

My longtime penpal, Monica in Liechtenstein, posed with her family in front of the Prince of Liechtenstein's royal castle in Vaduz. We spent several wonderful days with them but now it's just a fond memory of our family vacation in Europe.
