Hoops in Eagan

The Wildcats of Eagan beat their big rival, Eastview Lightning, is a very close, junior varsity game tonight. 

Eagan Kickstart Rotary Club

This morning, I attended the 7 am breakfast meeting of the other Rotary club in Eagan. They meet weekly on Thursdays at Granite City Grill on Pilot Knob Road.

The pioneers and horses seem to have left the scene. Now it's just a covered wagon in front of Casper's Restaurant.

A lemon tree jumped into my shopping cart at Hyvee grocery store! I wonder how long until lemons will appear.... How big will they be? 

Classy chandeliers

On Saturday afternoon, I had my haircut as the last customer of the day. The Vincent Salon chandeliers are always brilliant; the haircuts are great and affordable.

This clump of frosted oak trees looks glorious out my office window after Wednesday night's snowfall.

Can you imagine driving this cat around in the snow? Could be a fun, big toy!

Bobcats and cats were all lined up along the street in "The Ridges" neighborhood. Seems like they should move out, non?

It was a grey day which subdued the actual house colors of these homes in "The Ridges" neighborhood, formerly a golf course. Home prices start at $600,000.

Ice fishing huts

I counted 9 ice fishing huts stationed on Holland Lake off Cliff Road and Lexington Avenue. It's 9 degrees Fahrenheit today but it feels more like a subzero - 10 degrees!

Frosted Tannenbaums

I think less than 6 inches of snow arrived? I was hoping the trees would be prettier and more snow frosted...

Winter advisory

The long-awaited, huge, snow blizzard has just started. They say 6 - 12 inches by tomorrow....

Free ice skating

The ice rink at Clearwater Park on Pilot Knob Road near Cliff Road is open. A warming house provides respite from the cold. Free fun!

This re-blooming orchid makes one hope that spring is coming soon....

Driving by Bremer Bank, their new sign caught my attention. The installation guys had just finished their work. 

Jr and Sr high bands

Falcon Ridge Middle School and Eastview High School band members held a joint concert at Eastview High School. Both bands played together as the finale. Bravo! Encore!

It was 3:30 pm and I expected to see Lifetime Fitness Gym super packed with the New Year's resolution people.... Maybe they all worked out in the morning?
