Mighty Knights

A Sunday afternoon at Caponi Art Park gave hundreds of visitors a taste of the Middle Ages. Knights in shining armor battled it out while other costumed middle-agers demonstrated crafts, archery and more.

Hayrides and pony rides...

Holz Farm held is annual fall "Lone Oak Days" on Saturday and Sunday. Nearly 2,000 people came to ride ponies, milk "Oreo" the Virtual Cow, pedal toy tractors, hear live music and enjoy many family activities!

Our friends from Japan, Shinji and Yukari Sakamoto, visited us in Eagan for lunch on Saturday. Yukari and I taught English for the Japanese government many years ago....

Crowds of Eaganites and others walked the 1.5 miles of entertainment, activities and booths from Byerly's grocery store to the Eagan Community Center on Sunday afternoon at the 1st annual street celebration.

Friendly city employees showed equipment ranging from chainsaws to a snowplow, bobcat and more!

A stand handing out FREE sweet corn proved POPULAR!

It's difficult to miss these monster machines parked along Cliff Road at the former Parkview Golf course.

Sad suspicion...

Eagan firefighters rushed to the original, wooden Town Hall from 1814 located on Pilot Knob Road across from the Police station on Sunday morning. Professionals suspect arsonists lit the historic structure on fire. Volunteer firefighters rescued many historic documents and items.
