Commuting & computing

Kai Curry rides his cool, custom "FAT bike" to work in Eagan from St. Paul, a 40 minutes journey. Special thick tires and custom wooden, decorative fenders help him arrive safely and in style at Gorton Studios where he works as a computer programmer and website designer.

  2. He looks dressed for the weather. Just checked the weather for the next few days as we're driving back on Thursday...doesn't look good!!

  4. That is impressive. On days like that, I ride my folding bike and take it on the bus if I have to, when the roads are in really rough shape.

  6. It's a frugal way to get back and forth to work... but I bet he arrives frozen on many winter days.
