These three wild turkeys were calmly feeding in a front yard in late October. With Thanksgiving soon here, they're likely now hiding deep in the woods!

- I was bit by a foreign travel bug after my sophomore year in high school. I haven't found a cure for it, nor do I plan to. I visited India for 5 weeks in early 2009 and Europe in July 2009. My family and I spent 1 month in Sweden, Norway and Denmark in July 2010. In January 2012, I went to the foothills of the Himalayan mountains and a wedding in Jaipur, India. Then in May 2012, I returned to Japan and Bangkok, Thailand. My family and I spent 3 weeks in Paris, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Germany in August 2012.

ReplyDeleteInteresting that you people have wild turkey, we only raise them domestically in my part of the world. I would hide till the end of the year if I were them too. Just to escape both Christmas and the New Year celebrations...

ReplyDeleteThey don't seem wild enough to stay alive for very long. Are they a protected species or are people allowed to shoot them during the shooting season?
