In late May, I had the opportunity to visit Rotary International connected friends in Parana, a southern province in Brazil. While there, I toured Iguacu Falls, water falls bigger than Niagara Falls. Argentina and Brazil split this beautiful wonder of nature.

The Eagan Rotary Club honored a firefighter and a police officer during its 22nd annual safety officer recognition lunch meeting on Wednesday.  Fire Chief and Rotarian Mike Scott presented the award to firefighter and safety trainer Rick McClay. Police officer and canine specialist Andy Helgeson received his award from Police Chief and Rotarian Jim MacDonald.

Mayor Mike Maguire, Eagan city council members and officials from Paragon dug their gold tipped shovels into the ground for a new $100 million outlet mall of 100 stores in a 400,000 square feet space on Tuesday morning. That will bring 2,000 new jobs and countless revenue and visitors to our city!
