Pop music in the woods

A crowd of over 400 Eaganites and others gathered on a lovely Sunday evening to hear the Dakota Valley Summer Pops Orchestra and Chorale perform toe-tapping, familiar pieces at Caponi Art Park.

For a small $5 suggested donation, everyone enjoyed tunes from "Phantom of the Opera," "Man from LaMancha," "Guy and Dolls," "Les Miserables" and others.

I would have loved to attend this concert. You were very lucky.

Outdoor concerts make symphonies more accessible to a lot of people.

Excellent, Leif. I adore outdoor concerts. And, you did a fine job capturing the conductor at a critical moment in his movement.

Man of la Mancha... One of my all time favorites, and not because we're here in Spain!
