Since electrical power is so important in our daily lives, I try not to complain too much about all the towers and wires that arise on our landscape. They really do not add much to the beauty of our land, tho, Good that you posted this n monochrome.

Insulators are going strong today!

I hope it's not an electrical fence!

No touchee!

This works perfectly for theme day! The squirrels sometimes get into our substation and set off the chain reaction resulting in a power outage.

No birds on these wires (as Leonard Cohen would say).

Your substation is near the simpler end of the spectrum and mine is near the more complex end. Same idea, though.

I am so scared of these places! I like the choice of sepia though (or is it b&w, I'm tired!)

"L'experte d'histoire" : Louis Des Balbes de Berton de Crillon (1543-1615), dit Crillon, un des plus grands capitaines de guerre du XVIe siècle et ami du roi de France Henri IV.

Beware : high character !

Oh, a substation! Why didn't I think of that? Excellent realisation of the theme!
