Kitchen cooks

Grandpa Ozz and Grandma Lois prepared a Thanksgiving feast for us. The menu included: turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, marshmallow topped squash, cranberry salad, green bean casserole, stuffing, lingonberry sauce, frosted bread and white wine. Pumpkin pie with real whipped cream topped off our Thanksgiving dinner together.

Did you eat after the Packer game? Cannot imagine combining that wonderful feast while the game was occurring. We had a traditional feast also, but with less variety, yet it was terrific. The old standards suited everyone just fine; the carcass is now being turned into broth as we "speak." Widmers again supplied a terrific bird!
