Fire engine red

Have you ever ridden in a fire truck? This red beauty was displayed at a recent open house. I just wish Fire Chief Scott would invite me on a "ride along" in a fire truck sometime! See other Ruby Tuesday participants here.

  7. I've never much gotten into yellow fire engines, but I do like red ones!

    WHERE RED ABIDES

    A day filled with scarlet, they say,
    Can make the sad heart skip and play;
    For where red abides,
    A little bird hides
    And sings every worry away.

  11. That's the kind of car that children would love, and no doubt some adults think it rocks as well. The bright red color works well. If the huge truck wasn't noticeable enough, then the shade of color would help get people to notice that there is a firetruck on the move.
