Grandmothers from China

These three Chinese women are visiting their families who live in our neighborhood. They meet at our corner and walk together every day.
Mrs. Zhao is visiting for 3 months from Zheng Zhou in Henan province; She likes walking.
Mrs. Zheng is visiting for one year from Wuhan in Hubei province; she likes Tai Chi.
Mrs. Zhang is visiting for 40 days from Beijing City; she likes Chinese dancing.

How nice that they are able to enjoy time in the USA and go back home and share with their friends and relatives there stories and information about what life is like in the USA. The cumulative effect of this "people-to-people" diplomacy is significant.

Oh I want to go to Europe and spend a year. I wonder if someone needs an extra grandmother to board.

Great picture, Leif! Thank you! I'm so pleased that my mom finds companies to enjoy the neighborhood walk together. She has taken the other ladies to the trails in the close by regional park. They all loved it.

A minor correction, Mrs. Zheng is from Wuhan (not Huhan), Hubei province.

I wonder what it's like to visit the U.S. from China! It must be so different.

This brought a smile to the face of «Mme la Vache», who is originally from China.

Their visits certainly are not short and sweet...sweet perhaps but they are able to stay for a nice long visit, which is wonderful for their families. It would be interesting to learn of their impressions of Eagen. Hope your girls have an opportunity to visit with them...what wonderful things they could learn from them!
