Through those doors

The side doors of Trinity Lone Oak Lutheran Church stand under some beautiful, old, stained glass windows. The center glass panel reads: "I am the way, and the truth, and the life." See other "Ruby Tuesday" participants here.

  1. Gosh if they are the side doors Leif, I can only imagine what the main entrance must look like, beautiful window!

  2. Wow. Unusual to have stained glass as part of a doorway, no?
(Psst, Leif, a typo: "Loan Oak." Is your head too much in the financial vocabulary? LOL)

  7. Since days of being bored in church, I've always been intrigued by stained glass and the stories they tell.

  12. "Trinity Lone Oak"--what an interesting name for a church! I'm sure there's a fascinating history behind it.

    I’M FOND OF CERISE

For red my affection is great,
It’s puce and chartreuse that I hate.
    I’m fond of cerise,
    It makes a nice piece
Of clothing that looks just first-rate.

  13. I am use to seeing big wood doors on churches especially under stain glass windows. I do like the red doors though.
