Our friends, Jason, Erika and their son Matthew, invited us over for salmon, hamburgers, vegetable medley, cherries, chips, "cowboy caviar," ice cream and chocolate almonds. Ah, summer!

  1. Sweet!
Sounds great. But cowboy caviar was a mystery until I googled it. (I was afraid it sounded like a local name for Rocky Mountain oysters.)

  2. Glad to see that the littlie in the grey t-shirt is getting into the red wine at an early age. Must have French genes. Way to go...

  4. "Cowboy caviar" is a medley of chopped up onion, tomatoes and bell peppers with corn kernels and black beans, some cilantro thrown in, etc. Yummy!

  6. A very nice "picnic" meal. I'm amazed that the youngsters eat salmon. Not a favorite with my grandkids.
