Almost Aussies

The Minnesota Freeze men's Australian football team played the Kansas City Power team on the Eagan Community Center fields on Saturday afternoon. I heard some Aussie accents sprinkled in among the Minnesotan English majority. To learn more about the game rules and history, click here.

The guard stones, ancient, for guarding against wheeled carriages are still useful, which protect the corners of the walls against the bodies and the bumpers of modern cars.

Probably something to do with Unisys being a major employer in the region. We hired most of our Unisys people from the Brisbane City Council in the 80s and Unisys has a lot of expats working for them all over the world.
