"Locks of Love"

Directly after school, our oldest daughter donated 11 inches (28 cm) of her hair at Cole's Salon. Her hair will be used by the "Locks of Love" program to create wigs for cancer patients and others who have lost their own hair.

My friend was growing out her hair to donate, too. This is such a wonderful project. You have a beautiful daughter, inside and out :D

Grossartig! Welch gute Sache. Und Kajsa, du siehst auch mit den kürzeren Haaren immer noch wunderschön aus.

Susu and PK say, "Way to go! Another wig made for a cancer patient! You ROCK for donating your long beautiful hair!"

And she still has plenty of hair left.

It must have been difficult for her to make the decision to lose her locks, but her smile indicates that her "sacrifice" is definitely worth it!

Locks of love, indeed. This brought tears to my eyes. You have a wonderful, generous, and beautiful daughter. May God bless her in a special way for this.

This is a generous program. She had lovely long hair and it is still beautiful even though a little shorter.

Lucky is the wig recipient, with such shiny smooth hair.

Oh Leif this takes me back to my early childhood in the 30's - Depression years - when my mother sold her beautiful long hair so that we would have at least one well-fed month...

Good for her! I'll do the same one day and hopefully get my daughter to do it as well!

That is very cool that you've raised her to be so giving at such a young age! I wish more did the same.

Your daughter is indeed beautiful, inside and out. Her lovely hair will make someone very happy and she herself looks so sweet, before and after.
