Through the trees...

Driving south on Dodd Road from Thomson Reuters recently, I discovered this weathered barn hidden behind trees down a long driveway.... See other "Barn Charm" photos here.

Lucky capture...you can barely see it!

I've always meant to have a barn theme, esp on highway 29 on the way to Green Bay and then Door County. Wisconsin has a lovely countryside replete with great barns of all ages. This one in your photo would fit nicely into that scene.

I would dearly love to see this barn better...though I really like this photo. Reminds me of so many I see around here...but the barns don't look half as interesting as this one does.

She looks like a huge old barn & looks like the roof may be caving in, but she's a beauty, anyway! Great post & thank you for participating... always love to see what you have to add from way up north, Leif! =)

I'm glad you got its picture despite the interfering trees. It looks like it's big barn. Nice post.

That's quite the thicket! Makes me wonder what the owners are hiding in that barn. :)

Nice shot Leif. I'm from Missouri and I had a watercolor professor in college who helped me to appreciate barns. Thanks for the good travel wishes.

Love this 'winter' scene, Leif! :-) 28ºC here now... and counting.

I like the trees. The branches look as they form a web.

Such a stunning shot... I am wondering what the little side building is used for. I love the way you composed this one. Fine photography.
