Sorry to have to be the one to say this, Leif, but I think you've overstepped the imaginary line between DP and commercialism

This seems like a bargain at that price.

Na ja, mein Geschmack ist es nicht unbedingt....

That's my dream house ... but the price is beyond me.

Wow! Does that price include the piano? :D

A nice place for the wealthy.

jb, Leif does a wonderful job of illustrating daily life in Eagan MN. The world is full of diversity and differences in housing and lifestyles. Yes, this could be considered an over-the-top example of commercialism to some but it's just one of many types of housing styles in Eagan. It's too bad more CDP bloggers don't showcase the living styles/homes unique to their area.

The way that you leap to your boss's defence is commendable, but this is a real estate ad, pure and simple.
Not exactly what Eric had/as in mind......

I love the windows in the piano room!

Wow!!! Here in California this house would easily be over a million!!! You might be able to get Altadena Hiker's love shack for $549k! http://altadenahiker.blogspot.com/2011/04/altadena-get-away.html

This is a great post to show the lifestyle and economy of an area...not at all a real estate ad...

I'm not at all a purist, but I think jb's comments should be considered. Maybe one photo and a link would be OK.

Does anyone have that kind of money anymore. Either way it's too fancy for me. I like simple.

Owh Leif.. it's a bargain!

I see that spring is starting in Eagan?

How nice of you to ask how I'm doing. I'm fine right now, thank you. The first of four months of this year was a rough time, probably the worst time in my life. I hope you can't see it in my photographs?

It is a beautiful house at the price of a good apartment...

I can never look at houses like this without a feeling of shame since we Americans consume more than our fair share of the earth's resources. Who needs a house this size with a 3-car garage?!

Allison said...

Coming from Switzerland, it's a steal. We can't touch a home half that size for under 650.- Too bad we couldn't fly that dream house over here! :)

That is a beautiful home...My daughter would love to have that piano.

Ja, dette var fantastisk flott og stort!
- tre garasjer, er ikke noe som er vanlig her. Mange har to, men de fleste har bare en, og lar den eldste bilen stå ute....

Is this the in-law unit in the backyard of Chez Hagen?

The inquiring mind of «Louis la Vache» wants to know...
