Monumental pride

This truck parked at the post office was like a lesson in American symbols: American flag, Jefferson Memorial, Liberty Bell, Bald Eagle, Statue of Liberty and Mount Rushmore.

Do Patriots need to advertise, I wonder? Was this car advertising something, too?

Very patriotic and the car looks cool! Glad to know that you've been to Bali, Leif. It seems that you've been in lots of places.

I think Mae West said "Too much of a good thing is wonderful." While true of some things, I'm not sure it applies here.

Patriotism around the car. I am still curious to know what is written on the side window. Anyways I could not read it even after enlarging the picture. I am just wondering if the Constitution of the United States written on it.

I have never seen anything like that here in Canada.

I don't know if this is patriotism or exhibitionism, but either way, you you'll never find anything of the kind here. Life is becoming so hard that people just don't give a damn, except for international soccer games, believe it or not.
