Seeing their beautiful feet reminds me of this verse from the Bible: 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so is it with Christ. For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body - Jews or Greeks, slaves or free - and we were all made to drink of one Spirit. See Katie Lloyd's other meme participants here.

Oh sweet!
ReplyDeleteAnd to me your photo says Isaiah's words:
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
Beautiful little feet and lovely carpet.

ReplyDeleteLove the feet. They do say so much. I love the tie in with the Scripture. Whatever part we play in the body of Christ, it is valuable.
ReplyDeleteI also liked the connection your first commenter made to the Scripture from Isaiah about "How lovely on the mountain are the feet of those who bring good news." Two great Scriptures in one!

Janis

Awesome photo for the verse. I like to think about that verse and how each of us has been made differently to contribute differently ~ fitting together like the pieces of a body ~ all for one purpose --- His glory! Amazing to think about, and live out.
