Feeling grey in Edgar

Heading home recently to Eagan from my parents' house in central Wisconsin, I spotted this grey barn in Edgar, Wisconsin. See other Barn Charm postings here.

Wow! That is a nice barn and a nice gray on gray composition. I can imagine living in something like that! Y'all sure do have some sturdy structures up there. Many of our barns down here are nothing more than boards and sheets of rusty tin haphazardly nailed to posts.

Wisconsin is filled with barns of all types. This one certainly looks trim and modern, that is if barns can be labelled "modern." Great find!

Big barn!

Loved the nest in your wreath too. They picked a special place.

This is a handsome grey barn, Leif. It looks like it must be part of a BIG operation.

What an impressive grate barn. Obviously, this is one large operation. I would think it house horses as well as cows. The lower section appears to me to be of stucco. Cannot really tell. Beautiful shot...nice capture.

When I saw the thumbnail photo, my first thought was "that looks like a Wisconsin barn". I opened your site and saw that I was right. I couldn't describe it to anyone but, there is something distinctive about Wisconsin farms.

My, that is a very stern shade of gray. They should lighten it or even try another color.
