My winter jungle

Orchids and geraniums crowd the table in our library at home. The IKEA chair next to the flowers proves to be a popular spot to sit and read or knit. A couple more months until we can plant flowers outside!

When I was at elementary school, my mother used to take care of some white orchids...

Having greenery inside the house is lovely! Is that snow I see out your window? ;D

A spot of green inside during the winter helps one's mood a tiny bit. Nice arrangement!!

My orchid has finally flowered for the first time in years! It sure helps to make it feel like spring doesn't it?

I think these are the first geraniums I see indoors. :-) As to this kind of orchids I keep them in my living room year round, too cold outside for them in winter and too hot and dry in summer.

I love my reading/knitting corner, too. I feel like cattle, going to my stall every night to cozy up. ;) So nice to know you've been to Switzerland!

Thats a beautiful library. Very pleasant and relaxing place to read.

Thanks for visiting my Chennai blog and my husband's Cruise blog.

I've been in India for over 4 years and your Hindi and local language is much better than mine.
