Snowy & lonely

Kids love to play on the playset at Walden Heights Park but with the frigid temperatures in January, kids were likely staying inside to read Harry Potter books or play computer games.

Seems odd to see that particular scene without children in it. There is something oddly quiet and peaceful about it, though.

I have the same reaction when I see snow-covered playgrounds.

There are many empty playgrounds in my area as well, even in the summer time.

Playgrounds are a bit depressing on winter days.

i don't there is anything more lonely than a playground or baseball field covered in snow!

Inside playing computer games? The kids should be outside sledding or skating.

Unhappily, it seems kids prefer play games computer than read books, at least in Brazil.

I see footprints so someone must have been playing there...at least for a little while. :)

Looks so inviting ... I guess when you live in a winter location, the kids would have had enough of playing in the snow !!!
what an entire opposite here with the very hot sun and also unpredictable rain falls, my kids stay at home too on their computers !!!

The snow will go and the kids will get mud on their boots - and enjoy it.
