Rocky water fountain

The Best Western Dakota Ridge Hotel at 3450 Washington Drive has an usual water fountain in their lobby, a comfortable place to sit and relax. February 1 is the City Daily Photo blog community's theme day.

  1. Nice. Nothing like the sound of a little waterfall to relax the guests.

  4. Many Aussie motels used to have these types of fountains but most have sadly vanished in renovations.

  8. I didn't think about fountains inside of places. This is really nice. I'm sure it adds a nice ambiance to the hotel lobby!

  9. Very nice, Leif. I have a pool and think of it as a very expensive white noise machine, kind of the way this fountain's noise would be.

  13. Sieht toll aus und ich finde man kann sich gut entspannen bei diesen plätschern in der lobby.
Das ist wie mit einem Aquarium das entspannt auch wenn man reinschaut...Herzliche Grüsse von uns 2

  19. Usual? or unusual? thanks for the encouragement on keeping up my blog. it's a time thing... anyway, have you heard that they have invented a new zodiac sign? to make space for it, you and I have suddenly become Tauruses! shocking! I'm a Gemini all the way, no stubborn Taurus for me! ;-)
