Fading Christmas

In mid-February, this fellow's Christmas garage decorations were looking a little tired. "That's an observation, not a judgement."

I always smile when I see these decorations months after the season ends. The husband of one of my friends destroyed their Christmas lights while clipping their shrubs in mid July! This family has a long way to go!!

They should have taken the decorations down while the snow was deep and saved getting out the step ladder.

But it brings some "colors" to all the white ;-)

Yes, I think it's about time they came down!

Is he late, is he early? Hmmm, I wonder.

I hate to admit it, but there are many homes and businesses here still decorated for Christmas. Perhaps the owners are waiting for milder weather to take them down? Or maybe they are in Florida!

I have noticed a lot of Christmas wreaths around. Everyone is probably waiting for warm weather to work outside.

In greater Hartford, simple wreaths stay up nearly to spring, just to add some color during the drab season, but more extensive ornamentation like this would usually be gone by now.

Tired? They look exhausted! Nice find.
