Be gone winter dirt!

After putting gas in my Hagen wagon on Saturday afternoon at the Holiday gas station, I waited in their car wash line behind 5 other cars while 7 cars idled behind me.

It's no wonder that the cars are lined up...just look at that dirty snow!

Ist es nicht ein wenig zu frueh? Das Auto wird doch gleich wieder schmutzig....

<no such problems in my area, it is snowing again!

That's the difference, you see. When fuel costs $8-9 a gallon, you don't idle.....

I remember when...living in Boston, it was imperative that you wash off the salt or it might turn car to rust.

That was the first thing I did the last time I came back from a winter trip to see my sister in Baltimore. I just had to make sure all the salt was gone!

no such problems in here(but we do have lots of sandstorms these days hahaha)...and I have no idea when it comes to car...I always rely on my husband :)) But yes, salts will turn your car rusty.

My car is filthy but i am waiting for warmer weather later this week before washing so that it doesn't freeze shut!

I'm with RedPat. I am waiting too. Luckily I drive a Jeep so people expect it to be dirty.
