A red relic

This wooden barn must have a long history in Eagan. A church, pre-school and residential neighborhood have long ago replaced its surrounding farm. See other charming Barns at Tricia's Bluff Area daily photo.

  1. I'm glad it is still standing. What would America be without her old red barns.

  5. Red barns are my favorite!
It seems to have withstood the test of time and with continued maintenance it should be around awhile. I hope it isn't torn down to 'make room'.

  10. I don't think that barn was originally there. I think the church moved it there.

  12. This photo reminds me actually a lot of Steffe's photos in Haninge. We're having an 'extremely' cold spell here right now. Temperatures are going down and down and down, to minus...1 C (30F) at night. This is Spain for you.

When «Louis» saw the title "red relic", he thought you were referring to one of the many old communists still to be found in The People's Republic of Berserkeley....

  21. Perhaps now can be used only for snow ball wars and give joy to the children of the town.
