Unlawful to pass

When the red lights are flashing, it's forbidden to pass a yellow school bus.

Good to know that. When I was a child I went to school walking.

And, of course it's the right thing to do. Wait until all students get off the bus. Maybe you should come to Greece to see how people are breaking such laws.....
Someone said some many years ago; In Greece there should be just one law, to obey the laws!

No load more precious than on a school bus! Motorists seem to be aware of the law and follow it regularly. Today both Minneapolis and St. Paul schools are closed because of the aftermath of the week-end blizzard and terribly low temperatures.

And you also have to stop in the opposite direction, I think.

Yes both directions must stop! It amazes me how many people don't pay attention to this.

Are people actually respecting this? They wouldn't here. I used to go by bicycle.

I like that part of the law - don't pass the schoolbus...
I have not yet met Kristen. If I do I shall greet from you, Leif.

It's a good idea for children security.

I hope they will never change, american school buses are so emblematic!

Agree with the voice above, that over here, people don't really care much. A safe road ahead and a good Tuesday as well.

I rode my bike to my school (junior high school + 2 years of high school) for 6 years (6 km from where I lived). That was hard in the winter but I have so many wonderful memories...
