'twas nice on the ice

Our daughters met another family ice skating at a city outdoor rink at the corner of Pilot Knob Road and Cliff Road at dinner time on Wednesday evening. Their 4 and 3 year old sons were trying the ice for the first time!

Everyone looks snug in their winter garb. Hope that they all become good skaters. Our son used to play hockey; he wasn't aggressive enough to star, but he could skate beautifully! Hope your girls stick with it and learn how to glide on the ice. It's a terrific recreational sport.

Up in Minnesota, I'll bet skating is practically a required subject. Have fun.

Brings back some memories of night ice skating parties with a fire blazing for warmth.

I'm always amazed at how fast kids learn how to skate...or anything, for that matter! ;-D

I know it's really early but wishing you and your lovely family a very happy new year!
