Tim Strand, our Gloria Dei Lutheran Church organist and music director, joined us for coffee and a Swedish Christmas pastry on Saturday morning.

Another beautiful table setting! Who makes the pastries? Everyone around the table looks like they can't wait to dig in!

I agree with Kate. A beautiful table setting indeed! Was this the day that you baked the bake Swedish Kringla while everyone else in your house were sleeping?

My late mother was Swedish ,and my late father was German. On Sunday mornings he would make Swedish pancakes. I miss them. And the pancakes.

I saw Minnesota playing in an outdoor stadium on Monday night football last evening. I am sure that when they made the schedule they did not anticipate the roof on your indoor stadium collapsing in the snow. A night game, in Minnesota, in December? Brrrrrr.

@Kate - I made the Kringla - it's "my specialty."
@Misalyn - yes, I made it early in the morning while all were still asleep.

Rumor has it that you asked him to play "Chosticks" on the organ.

«Louis» knows that rumor is true because he started it himself...
