Hanukah, the festival of lights

Rabbi Morris J. Allen showed me their Beth Jacob Congregation Synagogue and lit the first of eight candles of the Menorah. Beth Jacob is the only synagogue in Dakota County located in Mendota Heights, an adjacent suburb to Eagan.

Hanukah began after sundown, Wednesday night, December 1 and lasts until Thursday, December 9 with the 8th candle to be lit on the night of December 8.

Happy Hanukah to all the Jewish people near and far!

Oh nice! Happy Chanuka. Will you be showing us more pics from Beth Jacob?
Hey Leif, let's make a swap. I'll post Lutherans in Jerusalem and you post Jews in Minnesota. :)
