ICE emergency!

All over Eagan and the Twin Cities, a layer of ICE has covered the roads, highways and sidewalks over night! There have been many car accidents and even a 40 car pile-up last night on Highway 94! Glad to see the City of Eagan truck spreading de-icing salt!

  1. Wow! and we're raking leaves down here with light sweaters. Just not ready to admit winter is on its way. We did have snowbirds visiting our patio this morning. Better check the forecast.

Well, another Sacred Sunday with no comments. Come on down Leif. Somebody's gotta appreciate a modular church!

  4. So far we haven't had that as of yet but there is snow in the forecast for tonight. Hope people were't seriously hurt in that accident. Nice shot.

  6. The photo reminded me the cold days I spent in my beloved city of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Warm regards and wishes from our region!

  7. I don't know if I'm jealous about the snow, or our weather (sunny and 26 degrees today) is better.
But I think I'd like to see some snow in Athens too!

  11. You ought to come to Barcelona. I do hate winter. It is mild over here and still I can't bear it.

  12. The snow was beautiful but so sorry that the ICE hit. Aren't dump trucks glamorous when you need them!

  16. A safe road ahead for you all. With temperature over here rarely being beneath the one within a fridge, guess that there won't be any for us. Please have a good new week.

  18. Oh, gosh. Can we suspend photography if it includes snow or ice? I was so happy seeing Sharon's photo today of a tree with green leaves on her Phoenix DP site. Be careful.

  20. Put some ice in your drink, and get warm. This all looks terribly cold.

  21. Ah yes! One of the two seasons in Minny-sota!
    Snow and Road Repair!

(Cars from Minny-sota that make their way to Bay Area car dealers for trade-in get an automatic $2,000 hit in value because of rust caused by road salt. No kidding...)
