Need an oil change?

Bo was standing along Beacon Hill Road beside the Jiffy Lube station trying to drum up some business. How much is an oil change where you live?

Wouldn't know - but when I did drive I would never take the car anywhere JUST for an oil-change - it would be done as part of the regular full service every whatever-many-miles it was.

pour les vidanges cela depend du type d'huile, en France cela doit etre dans les 30 euros

Bo looks like a friendly guy. And, his price is a couple bucks better than here. If the drive was so long . . .

I go to the Beacon Hill Road Jiffy Lube in Eagan MN where an oil change is $24.99.
Please have yourself a delightful Wednesday.

This $24.99 deal probably does not cover diesel engines. They require a special synthetic oil which is more expensive. I usually pay around $80 for an oil change with the dealership. Unfortunately, I haven't found any other place that can do the change for diesel engines.

My mechanic looks after that kind of thing when I get it serviced.

He's really intent on getting some business! Oil and filter change here (not at a Jiffy Lube but at our favorite local tuneup business) is around $35.

$5.00 more at the Pennzoil Fast Change here in the SF East Bay area...

In Francein small town it could be as the same price. But the major price variation is linked to the oil quality.

ha, it's nice he had a smile for you.

I'm not sure how much oil is here. It's probably about the same?

I'm not sure how much it costs here (Australia) just for an oil change, but $24.99 sounds like a bargain: Lube Mobile charges
