Eagan CDP meets Drammen CDP

Rune, former blogger of the Drammen Daily Photo blog, and I met for an afternoon of photos in July. The top photo was clicked standing before the "Stortinget" (possibly translated as "The big thing") or Parliament Building in downtown Oslo. Then we walked down Karl Johan Gate to the Norwegian Royal Palace. It's a small world after all!

I can't tell you how much happiness this post brings me. It's wonderful when fellow bloggers meet, isn't it? If not for CDP we would have remained unaware of each other. Through this community we've met people we would never have known otherwise.

I have yet to meet another blogger in person. Anyone coming to Jackson?? :)

Looks like you had fun. Glad you got home safely from your trip.

After a good nights sleep - some blogging has been done. Nice to hear you are well at home. You two at the photos seem to enjoy what you are doing. Great.

It is good that you met a distant, fellow blogger, and also, that you spent time with relatives in Norway and Sweden. I felt like an idiot when I visited Sweden, commented to a woman I met (actually, with whom I was dancing at a folk dancing demonstration) that my mother's ancestors emigrated from Sweden to the USA. She asked me where in Sweden they came from, and I did not know! My mother never told me, and I did not ask before she passed away. I don't know if she knew.

I was interested in your comment on my site today about your having been to a beach near the Arctic Circle. Brrr. We chose to buy a condo in Costa Rica in part because the water temperature is pleasant there year 'round.

I have today signed up for your blog, which is something I should have done long ago, as I have enjoyed visiting it.
