BRIGHT Orange!

Jim drives a BRIGHT orange, 1929 Ford delivery sedan. The original list price was probably $500. Only 7,000 of this model car were produced annually during 1928 - 1958.

August 1st is the City Daily Photo blog community's theme day. The theme is "bright colors."

Is Jim a really big guy or is that van really small? A very happy photo, Leif!

Haven't checked in with you for a while. This car is GREAT. I'd love to have one. "Oh, the places I'd go" is my Dr. Seuss-like thought. If you like bright, old cars, be sure to stop by Greensboro Daily Photo tomorrow!

Nice catch!
That car looks tiny. I imagine Jim must fold himself up when inside.

Cool old car with a bright colour. Well photographed.

I wish you a colourful and successful (month of) August, Leif.

He seems to be proud of his car...

I don't think I have seen a car like that. It does not need the bright colors to attract attention, but if you've got it, I guess you might as well flaunt it.

Oh that is so cute! But goodness, it doesn't look big enough for one driver, much less for anything else to be delivered.

Nice to see your comment all the way from Europe. What country are you in now? Hope you're all having a grand time with your family!

I do not know which one looks brighter: his car or his happy smiling face :-). Great choice, Leif!

It's a bright car with a very bright personality! Nice find, dude. It's impressive that the car looks like it can still do fine in the road. It would be fun to drive a car like that around town on a good day!

That car must be flashy even at night. LOL! That could be good because it will be more noticeable on roads and highways, which can prevent accidents. In any case, I’m pretty sure that it can still run, given that it has been restored inside and out.

That sedan is precious! Jim is one lucky man. Its bright orange paint job would definitely make some heads turn. Cars of this kind are rare finds, and having one in perfect condition is just neat! :D

Wow! That is such a rare car! Only 7,000 models a year were released then? It’s pretty cool that Jim got to have one, and it still looks like it can conquer the highways! I guess Jim spends a lot of time taking care of the sedan, which is something car owners must do if they want their vehicles to last as long as this Ford sedan.
