Horse path under bridge

Pilot Knob Road runs north and south over this bridge. Under this bridge, one could often see horse riders from the adjacent Diamond T horse ranch. That ranch is now the Steeplechase neighborhood with about 100 homes on it. Sometimes we still see some horse-tracks on the path but it's been a long time since I've seen a horse there...

Horses gave way to housing. Too bad there wasn't room for both.

Stables close to the Cities is becoming a thing of the past. I agree with Dina, but I have preference for the horses.

This is a unique Sunday Bridge post!

On the other side of the hills just east of Chez la Vache, there are many horse ranches and little urban incursion. It is only miles away, yet a whole world away from the (perhaps over) urban Bay Area.

I remember seeing riders as a kid....not too many now.

Maybe the tracks are left by spirit horses. Would be a good story to try and spread around.
