"Backdrafters" pedal for charity

In 1996, Doug Lange (3rd from left) started the "Backdrafters" bike team in Eagan. A former firefighter, he and others gather for biking and especially to raise $$$ for Multiple Sclerosis. During the recent 150 mile, 2 day annual MS ride from Duluth to the Twin Cities, over 100 team riders raised almost $70,000 in sponsoring pledges.
Erik's bike shop also sponsors the team and supports the weekly 25 mile, Thursday evening rides from May through mid-August. Keep pedaling!

Auf, Auf! Find ich echt toll. Sollte ich auch mal machen. Ich werde mir bald ein Rad kaufen, hier in Stuttgart, leider nicht im aktiven Eagan.

There are 100 of us (Backdrafters) now. We're from all over Minnesota. And, IIRC one or two from out of state. We'll have a team in next month's MS-TRAM ride across Minnesota.

Doug has created a great organization!

That's really wonderful.

There are so many worthy causes, it's moving to think people are going all out for a cure for MS.

Ohh I especially like this as I love to bike as well! I think it's wonderful what they're doing. It's such a good cause and I hope more people support such great endeavors.
