Saturday sales of Spring

When Spring arrives, garage sales start up again. It's a good way to clean out your unused stuff or find a good deal if you need some new "used stuff." The Deerwood neighborhood has an annual sale in which many neighbors participate.

Garage sales, that's something I miss from America.
Nice how you say "new used stuff." :)

Today Highland Park has a community garage sale. Years ago I would vow to hit many, but now I should participate to get rid of my "stuff." I still can't resist stopping at times to browse. Your photo shows a very nice residence with many bargains, I suppose.

It is not good for the globalised economy to sell all that unused used stuff - but second hand "loppemarked" or garagesale is great. The world will survive a little longer...

I have absolutely NO WILL POWER when it comes to garage sales. There really aren't any here, except for the once-a-year foreign community sale...and yes, I am going.

Rumor has it that the Rotary Club is taking bids on a certain financial planner in one of these garage sales...

«Louis» knows that rumor is true because he started it himself...
